This ONT Box should be cheaper then PON Stick counterpart,

this also solve a lot of issue where you can use router that don't support VLAN Internet like TP-Link TL-XDR5480
also not everyone comfortable managing Mikrotik, this ONU emulate D-Link and Huawei at most.

Dothan This is Unifi compatible ONU I working on,
also it should support TIME, Maxis own Infra and Allo (Nokia/Huawei) with right OMCI
Can ditch D-Link, Can use China Router (since they don't use VLAN Internet)

Yes, it works even if VLAN is not configured on the router.

Yes, I tried when router configured with VLAN, no issues as well. Now don't need to worry bridged mode suddenly drop speed ya. biggrin.gif

Just sharing, yesterday after I swapped to the custom ONU box, I noticed my upload speed gets stuck around 200mbps. Tried several things like restarting ONU and router, change IP range but still the same issue.

So I decided to contact TM and ask to "reset port", immediately after it was done the speed was back to normal.

Any idea why this happened? Was it the OLT and ONU needed to "re-negotiate"?

P/S: Actually this also happened when I gotten the FSU from 800mbps to 1gbps and my ONU swapped from previous Huawei to the DLink black box. A "port reset" solved it as well that time.

I also set the factory default value to Unifi, just in case doing factory reset, it default to Unifi profile
