I dont think is extra 1 year. But it is 1 year Samsung Care+ ... Original is 1 yr manufacturing defect warranty. Now upgrade to 1 yr Samsung Care+ to cover accidental and water case. So total still 1 year (12 months) only.
This not going worth to get.

I think s23 onwards, no more green line. As far as I know s21 or s22 then can get free screen replacement just only labor charge.

Unfortunately, my Z fold 6 had green line a few months into my usage, after I returned from Japan. Didn’t drop it or whatsoever. Phone was pristine. Not sure if it’s because of winter in Japan, frequent outdoor photography and I saw the screen flickered one night then few days after I returned home, green line appeared. Brought it for warranty claim. Sold it thereafter for v3.
