The device does come with 1-year screen crack warranty by Samsung Malaysia, under Galaxy Z Premier service (if I am not wrong). Maybe the CS you spoke with was confused with the regular screen crack warranty for most Samsung phones. 😅

Despite many YouTubers and review websites saying Fold3 will only have the Snapdragon variant, i think there's no official announcement from Samsung that they will not have an Exynos variant for the Fold3, right?

even their launch event infographic showed 5nm processor for Fold3 and did not specifically mention Snapdragon 888.

fingers crossed that Samsung would not suddenly surprise us with an 'Exynos version' for Malaysian market.

Yeah, I agree with that too.

Just that if you look at Singapore's official Samsung pre-order website, their Fold3 specifications clearly spell out SnapDragon 888.

Meanwhile, the pre-registration site for Samsung Malaysia just mentioned 5nm processor.

Still, no confirmation on their website that we are getting the Snapdragon 888 variant. Hmmm. Guess we have to wait until 19th August to find out.

The funny thing is, why doesn't Samsung Malaysia mention Snapdragon 888 directly - just like Samsung Singapore? That would prevent any confusion.

It has been OOS there for a long time already, as I am regularly checking that too.

Hey guys. Just checking in to see how you guys are doing.

Still loving my Fold3 after having used it since launch day. Battery life is holding up well for me around 5-6 hour SOT average and I move around a lot for work. Currently the best Android phone for me at the moment. Camera performance is very good IMHO thanks to the advanced ISP of Snapdragon 888, but of course with the exception of low light due to the smaller sensor.

Used set market price now is about RM4,000 for 256GB Fold 3. Very terrible compared to the launch price of RM6,699 last year August. As a pre-order Fold 3 owner, I don’t really mind as the phone is still the ultimate folding Android in my opinion. 😃

Another 2 months or so to go for the Fold 4 launch.

Looking forward to better battery performance, and slightly wider display (for easier usage during folded mode) and flagship-level large sensor camera.

Same here. Dark Mode is working fine in FB app on my Fold 3 Inner Screen. 👌🏼

Try to play around with your Display Settings.

Certain things like the size of your screen layout, Multi Screen etc may prevent Dark Mode from being activated in FB app.

I personally prefer the stock Samsung keyboard for Fold3, especially during unfolded mode.

Haven’t tried the latest update for GBoard yet which is supposed to have a proper split screen keyboard for Fold.

Faulty firmware perhaps. Try restarting, or worst case do a factory reset. You bought it new or used?

If you bought used and if the problem can’t be solved with a factory reset, it’s possibly faulty.
