QUOTE(coolman82 @ Jul 26 2023, 10:50 PM) not worth as we dont get the additional storage upgrade which worth rm500.. I think it's up to how you see it hahaand also doesnt have the rm400 voucher to buy accessories on top of that dont have the additional rm200 discount from the rm400 evoucher.. EPP = direct discount of the price telco promo storage upgrade to me is if you did use the telco then why not? the 400 discount (high chance on accessory) to me personally is useless So in the end is measuring which one provides more "value" in our "view" |

A noob question since I never buy phone for a long time.... If I gotten a used unit, can I go to Samsung store and pay for the care or warranty thing for a year or two?

Question on the durability of Fold, tempted to get a used Fold 6, wishful thinking hope can get at 3K
Again worry on the screen and hinge durability, any ex fold users can share their view on the durability? |

QUOTE(JAIDK23 @ Jul 17 2025, 02:54 PM) i concur.. after all, the software reliability and smoothness which UI can provide is what most user sought after. As my personal experience, very durable for normal swipe-view-writing-gaming on big screen, no scratch or tear. drop once (folded position) with thinborne case, still steady. QUOTE(invest2229 @ Jul 17 2025, 04:10 PM) I'm using Fold 5 for 2 years and so far no issue except screen protector changed 1 time and is foc under Samsung free vouchers. QUOTE(WaNaWe900 @ Jul 17 2025, 10:45 PM) QUOTE(ruifung @ Jul 17 2025, 11:03 PM) I got a Fold5, and I've uh, dropped it many times while folded, granted I've always had a case on, no hinge protection though. Seems quite durable haha, is it changed the screen protector then its fine? All I've got so far are some paint chips on the hinge, and I think some scratches on the side from debris that got into the case somehow. In nearly 2 years of owning it, I've had to bring it in to a samsung service center once to get the screen protector replaced. I mean I am aware the inner screen cost a bomb like 2k ish, external is like below 1k if I am not wrong. Still hoping to get one, let see haha cause i like the width of fold 6 which is smaller while having the option to open it for bigger screen. |

Gotten a used fold 6.
1 question: Anyone can recommend all around "protective" casing? Must come with hinge protection, and kickstand if possible, been check out in shopee and lazada to no avail. |

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Oct 8 2025, 08:51 PM) It will become bulky. of course you can try taobao ... lot selling aramid fiber type of case including hinge, they are very thin and light. Sadly I am not comfortable with the back case with hinge protection only.Ya hmm I red through some bought the aramid with hinge back cover, then bought other brand's "front case" to protect it. Think the thickness is tricky hmm, not sure any member do this. |
