I think previous z flip in Malaysia is the non 5g version with sd855, 5g with sd865 not released here.
Wondering when samsung will release the pre order promos. This round seems like the z flip will be a good seller if priced right. Gf eyeing the z flip since last year but held her off it cause knew this version will be much improved.

So probably around 4299, if got good pre order promo eg with the new buds + some form of insurance / extended warranty might be a good pick up
Agreed the cameras should be good enough for usual social media use.

On the bright side this is one of the rare years where exynos isn't too bad lah.
Been using s21 ultra since launch and battery life/performance has much improved over the exynos 990 which was a disaster.
Not too sure how the battery would be on the foldables though as it is a smaller sized one compared to s21u

This 3rd fold seems like samsung trying to keep cost down and try to appeal to masses so not much upgrade compare to previous fold. They just focus to improve the durability of the phone and design tweak here and there.
Expect bigger changes next year, probably camera etc also might improve next year but I think for camera tech they still will put their best into the S - series for now.

SME also feeling the pinch from our endless MCO and political musical chairs.
At least they giving the protection+ which is extra important imo for these phones

GF just got the z flip 3. Think the trade up value this round quite good. S10E 128gb trade in price rm505 but apparently there's an overtrade promo right now so able to get rm1.3k for it

I think this is their usual promo for trade ins during this period. Last time when I upgraded from note 20u to s21U also got something similar. The listed price for n20u trade in 2.3k then got promo add another rm600 to that 2.3k.

That time gf got the phone, trade in S10E Samsung got overtrade promo. Got rm1k for the s10e

Tech moving fast, z flip 4 coming in 6 months.

Just sharing the SP on her z flip 3. start bubbling already. Luckily this gen can change. Just switched to generic brand sp from shopee. Not sure how long it will last.

Depends on your definition of normal usage. So far good enough to last full working day. I think SOT is around 4 hours. But if heavy use definitely will need to top up juice during the day.
I think if you keen for flip phone at this point I'd rather just wait for the flip 4. Probably incremental update only but so far every new gen of foldable seems to be better. Either in build quality with the hinge and the durability of the screen.


Tried that, SC in Melaka don't do. They will replace screen if screen is affected. For purely screen protector problem what they recommended us was to just replace it.
Maybe if in KL can consider mobile outfitter since they custom cut the protector and if I'm not mistaken got warranty and can change anytime for small fee.
