Just receive my fold 2. Man it is heavy. How have you guys adjust to the weight?

I'm coming from a note 9.

eventually you will get used to it
think of this phone as the 3310 of 15 years ago ( big and heavy before Nokia 8310) comes in

I only use cover for behind. don't think will fix the cover in the front.

FINALLY! After broke news of it 2 weeks back. Changelog reported by Suilow said to be nothing but minor fixes. Android 11 will come with OneUI 2.5 or 3.0 update, I guess.

Someone report in once the November update is out for our Malaysian Fold 2s.

Just a free advice, dont use the "Your Phone" app on PC together with the "Link to Windows" feature/function on your Fold 2 while updating your Fold 2. I got lazy to grab my Fold charging on my DexPad on a separate table while I was working on my work station, so I decided to "cast" the Fold 2 screen to my PC work station monitor where I was sitting and did the update that way , with the screen casting to my monitor. The update went through successfully though, but after updating and optimizing apps was completed, I went over to the table to physically check the Fold itself and switched off "Link to Windows" casting. The Fold got pretty hot, now cooled down after a while. I think the screen casting feature of "Link to Windows" via the "Your Phone" app on my Win 10 desktop is pretty resource intensive that it heats the Fold 2 considerably.

I use the "Link to Window" feature/function pretty extensively, as it also pipe all notifications on the Fold 2 to my PC and I can reply to those notification on the PC straight away without having to wake up the Fold from sleep.

It bring back all my many years ago Nokia E90 memory !

I have purchased 2 units of Fold 2 , 1 is proposed is for my wife but later she found out too heavy to use so i will be let go her unit, see if who are interested to purchase ?

It is Bronze Color, opened boxed but unused, all inside the box. Just got it yesterday (purchased thru EPP web on 10/11). A Ringke Slim Clear Case is included as well (still on the way), should reach by next Monday.

Will be selling for the same EPP price at RM5999 that i purchased , the Ringke Clear Case worth RM93.50 will be provide as a freegift.

Anyone interested to purchase can PM me for some pictures biggrin.gif

Anyone's inner screen protector still well intact? Seem like it's about time for me to peel it off because the the edges along the hinge started to float up more and more often lately. I might lose patience with it soon.

Peel, but keep the factory default screen protector for warranty purposes. I'm still hanging on with mine, bubbling around the middle crease. They cant fault you for removing it if its already peeling off while in pandemic days. Unless they wanna come to my home and personally peel it off to fulfill that "must only be removed by Samsung technician" crap.

Western YouTubers seems to mostly remove their screen protectors. According to them, the feel is miles better and a lot less plasticky.

Worth considering? Got me intrigued at least. If the hinge cover is that precise fitting into place.

What screws?

Anyway, I’ve abandoned any interest for this. It was for during my interest to get another Fold 2 in black to complement my current Fold 2 in bronze. Common sense prevailed and I chose not to go ahead with that silly plan, better wait for the next Fold than get another Fold 2. I’ve settled down very happily with my mystic bronze Fold 2 protected by the mystic bronze VRS case. The case fitting is so firm it’s almost become a part of the Fold now, and the colour matches the Fold 2 like it’s made for each other. I’m glad I had that settled, my condolences whoever who hasn’t settled down with a case by now after more than a month owning the Fold 2. At this stage of owning the Fold 2, you should’ve become comfortable with using the Fold 2 and had discovered all its quirks, features, functions and advantages of a folding device over its boring slab phone counterparts, not wracking your brain still to find a good case. Time to USE your Fold now, not play dress-up with it still.

Interesting development. I’d probably avoid the first iteration of this, and jump in on the second version. Just like how avoiding Fold 1 and being very happy with Fold 2 works for me.

Let the eager early adopters work out the kinks and only jump in when the problems and faults rectified.

I also don't like cases with adhesive.
