hmm...after owning all the notes from 2 to 20, and a few s in between. this is the probably the first year not getting a samsung. the folding screen while sounding enticing, doesn't really suit my use case. i use my phone a lot in short burst situation...mostly standing. so having to mostly interact with the front screen is a real waste. and if i have enough time to sit down and enjoy using the inside screen, then I might as well use the ipad pro. furthermore the camera is quite a downgrade being nearly 2 years old tech, plus no sd card slot. well...maybe next year then.

so i was thinking at least grab something la...at least the watch 4. but then i read lots of complains about poor battery life...seems its only good for about a day plus. my 2 year old active watch 2 still gets a solid 3 days plus use without fail.

It's fine if that's your use case. Just that it's not my use case, to me it's neither here nor there. I can see myself enjoying the larger screen to the fullest when I'm sitting down, using 2 hand etc. And in this kind of scenario, I might as well use a tablet. If I'm using it mostly 1 handed, then the note (or similar sized phones) is more satisfying compare to the narrower and thicker form of a folded fold3.

Anyway I'm not against the fold at all. I used to own a Nokia communicator back in the day lol (for those too young to remember, imagine a laptop shrunk to the size of a phone )

I'm more looking forward to the extending/rollable screen phones though. I think that's a more ergonomic form factor to be honest.

but i'm having second thoughts about the trade-in ... i think it is a rip off. has anyone tried to cancel the instacash trade in and is there a penalty?

samsung already charged me and i already got all the discounts (850 + 200 trade-in).

just received Z Fold3 today. to my surprise it comes with dual sim slot. I thought Fold is 1 sim slot + e-sim slot
