Z Fold 6 users.. how's your batt life so far? I'm on light profile and getting quite poor battery life.. coming from z flip 5.. was thinking I will get some upgrade on batt life. I did smart switch direct transfer from flip 5. Estimated batt life now 15hrs on full charge. I got about 5 hrs screen on time. Mixed usage outer n big screen. Wireless Android auto and chrome seems to consume the most.

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Aug 7 2024, 02:51 PM) Yikes! I have yet to receive my Fold 6 but based from your experience, it doesn't sound very convincing nor improvement over the Fold 4 & 5. Watched some review.. seems ok.. or at least improved from fold 5. Hopefully it's just "stabilising" and batt will improve Xaser_3 liked this post

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Aug 1 2024, 04:15 PM) using the slim armor pro and it is quite thick. i am going to get the Nilkin one with hinge protection + magsafe magnets. seems to be slimmer than the spigen and adds grip too Got my nillkin one today.. not bad.. seems good fit and slim, not sure about durability , should be fine for light bumps. The TG seems a bit small though, and since there are black borders I tried to center in so won't block the screen edges..but I think will still block some. |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Aug 8 2024, 02:56 AM) I hv camera lens protector installed and I'm not sure whether this case will fit? Is there a slight gap on the camera area for lens protector? No..not really. I don't think it would fit unless the glass is just on the lens and not the lens rings. The case partially covers the lens rings. |

QUOTE(cloud_valentine89 @ Aug 8 2024, 03:06 PM) Just bought z fold 5 from Senheng Lazada. As far as i know, its 2nd year from Senheng themselves. Wont add on to care+ warranty. So if you get 2 years Care+ nI noticed that there was a plus one warranty available. Since its indicated as extended one year warranty after the manufacturer's warranty, does it mean I can get a total 3 years warranty if I purchase 2 years care+? 1 year samsung + 1 year senheng (manufacturer warranty) 2 year care plus concurrently. QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Aug 8 2024, 07:28 PM) ah damn. i really wanted to nilkin case. i think it is the slimmest case with hinge cover and also with magsafe and better grip I dont really think you need lens covers.. I never used for any of my phones.. never rosak.. as long as you're using a decent case. But it's up to you though. |

QUOTE(screwedpeep @ Aug 19 2024, 07:40 PM) Bought Spigen Air Skin Aramid case. Real aramid? How does the front cover fit?It has flat surface, no texture feel at all. Grip is good. Catches smudges quite easily. Fitting is all good, enough protection around the lens, ample space around the buttons and charging port. Got one set of spare sticker. Comes with front and back case. QUOTE(GymBoi @ Aug 18 2024, 11:22 PM) Checked out demo at physical store. For those mention big screen for watching video, what kind of video can u watch? The screen is square and very rare have this kind of video ratio? I just randomly open youtube then full screen, it only fills 1/3 of the screen, then i compare with my s22u ... actually my s22u video is bigger in horizontal full screen lol ... thoughts? netflix got better resolution videos? If you rotate to “landscape” mode to watch video it should be bigger, speakers are better too. Xaser_3 liked this post

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Aug 21 2024, 11:57 AM) Nillkin hinge actually quite thin. At least much thinner than the z fold 5 one. I saw poor reviews too although I think it's the nicest looking slim full cover case.. any actual owners here ?The spigen one has bad reviews on Amazon claiming the hinge protector when unfold, peels the front cover off. Also looking for feedbacks from any users here. Front cover with built in screen protector is a no no coz the gap between the screen and protector can cause dust to enter and scratches the screen |

QUOTE(singgung @ Sep 9 2024, 09:36 AM) Hi guys, any flip 5 user back cover lifted / popped up? I always put my phone in case and didn't notice the back cover popped up on one corner near the hinge until I took the case out to change screen protector. Sent to SC and they said they will check everything including battery in case it's swollen. After few days they said battery ok, only the glue came undone. After almost a month, the back cover starts to pop up again, same side and now my warranty is already expired. Lol. No such issue for almost 1 year owning it. Hmm so sad.. they didn't fix it properly. maybe get quotation how much to fix it. |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Sep 16 2024, 03:17 PM) Went to check out the v3 and it is definitely feels like a normal phone. But I think I'll just stick with Samsung's software Overall feels good to me...but I don't like the hinge.. Samsung hinge feels the best imo after trying different brands, I don't like how the Chinese brand hinges "snap" open or close unlike Samsung hinge where it stays where you put it..until extreme angle only snap close. bennedict82 liked this post

QUOTE(invest2229 @ Oct 21 2024, 11:21 AM) Ya, kind of disappointed, the battery capacity still the same vs other fold players where are very ahead. Probably they are very careful now as last they have major Note 7 explosion issue due to battery design. Yeah, was thinking to watch it.. but macam tak ada. I think the outside screen is more slab phone like too. Maybe this is Z Fold 7 next year Other than camera upgrade, The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition boasts an 8.0-inch main screen. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is 1.5mm thinner and 3g lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, according to Samsung. BTW, just wonder this round no official unpack event but just put up on Samsung official website? |
