If charging to 100% in mornings, most likely around 6pm battery finished based on my Fold 5 la.

Welcome to the F7 club. Myself using F5 before F7. In term of battery life, F7 looks lasting bit maybe 15-20% compared my F5 usage.
Based on my regular usage, 1 day is not the problem at all.

one day can hit up to 6 hours on screen time?

for mine usage, easily could achieve 7 to 8 hours

mainly watch YouTube, social networking, Ms Teams/ Whatsapp

With android auto. I'm using wireless , not charging with it.

40 minute trip.

AA for me heats up especially on the antennae part when wireless. I've used wired and it is not so bad. F5 was worst but F7 is manageable.

On the pixel 9 it heats up as well but I would say it's much lower temperature than the Fold7.
I believe this wlll be the case as it's constantly communicating between the phone and the infotainment unit in your car.

I feel the Fold7 is much more warmer. Can't be so sure yet since I just got the phone for 2 days. Will have to monitor and see but generally it'll be warm.
Not so sure about Apple CarPlay.
I'll give it a try one of these days.

Fold 5 also warm but hot as hot as Snapdragon 888

Quite standard for android phones. Best solution (for me) is to use the sort of holder which clip to your aircon vent. Permanent cooling. I use with wireless charging (magsafe case) as well, even when drive up to Penang the phone still 98% battery when reach destination. Using Fold 6.

If wireless charging in direct sun phone will overheat and shut down apps even without Android Auto, it is worse with Android Auto, definitely not recommended. Put the phone out of the direct sun, best if aircon blowing on it, then is quite okay.

Never ever buy a Fold when it's launched especially a Samsung cos the value dropped very fast
