Hi guys, any flip 5 user back cover lifted / popped up? I always put my phone in case and didn't notice the back cover popped up on one corner near the hinge until I took the case out to change screen protector. Sent to SC and they said they will check everything including battery in case it's swollen. After few days they said battery ok, only the glue came undone. After almost a month, the back cover starts to pop up again, same side and now my warranty is already expired. Lol.

So, I am not the only one. My previous Note 10+ and Note 20 Ultra also faced the same issue on the back cover. Also not to forget the vertical green line that appears after sometime on newer phones

I have other phones (different manufacturer) that are way older and dont face such issues, seems like they are taking quality control for granted.

Has anyone here started using a foldable phone with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as their first? Would you say it’s worth the money, and do you feel like you’re fully utilizing its features?

Initially, I was planning to get the iPad Mini 7, but after doing some extensive research, I found that Samsung’s note-taking capabilities seem far more advanced. Plus, I’m already in the Apple ecosystem, and I like the idea of not having to carry two separate devices to enjoy an 8-inch screen.

The only thing holding me back is the price. I’ve looked into the Fold 5 as well, but the promo prices for the Fold 6 don’t seem to differ that much.

What do you think? Any insights or experiences to share would be much appreciated!

Faster trade in Flip 5 value still around RM 1065 to RM 1190. Same with my Fold 5 the battery cover open up due to the heat from battery during charging loosen up the glue, the circular lens cover also fall off. I was shocked by the quality of Samsung. So cincai only the quality. Also the SP keeps getting bubbles at the crease, already changed twice. Candy bar Fons are the best, buy smaller size Fon easier to use. 6.1" to 6.5" size.

Lost trust of the brand already

I used my S10+ for 6 years before upgrading this year. And I can tell you other than the battery the phone still serve me well

Note7? You must be old hahaha. Many say Samsung are done after that incident, but here they are now still stronger than ever after all the ups and downs

But I must agree they messed up the OneUI 7 roll out which is not a good sign for their reputation now. Promised high but under delivered

Never heard of such occurrence . Must be you don’t use casing

Agreed S22U screen spoiled Fold 5 battery cover peels off due to heat from charging

I'm so surprised the back cover peels open by itself that I'm so worry it would affect the trade in value I faster use my thumbs to press back the cover until it closes, luckily the glue Samsung uses is like bubbles gum so it is still sticky enough to close back nicely, but I'm very sure it's no longer water proof cos got gap visible along the cover.

I have seen the seal you mentioned on sale in Shopee, strangely though my Fold 5 don't have that instead it's glue is like bubbles gum that will loosen melt when the battery charging is too hot causing the back cover to peel open by itself.
