It should be the battery, since thats what most likely would affect the amount of output produced. But since you changed it and the problem still persists, i'm not too sure. Maybe you have loose wiring or something.
i oso suspect its the wiring prob.... so which part that bring the prob... battery box?

Also, what battery brand do you use?  hmm.gif

9v energizer

sounds like the onboard preamp circuitry has a problem. The easiest way to fix it is to change the entire preamp. But it's going to be expensive. What did the store said they fixed? Or did they even identify the problem? Maybe you should ask them what is wrong.

the store salesman know nothing bout the prob... they call someone from music shop i think...

these basses with preamp.
lets say if the batt/preamp is dead, you can still play it without having the preamp right?
or does that only apply to certain preamps that can be bypassed?

i bought it from cash converter, a used item store.... near ampang point..
they still offer to fix it if i encounter any prob again with the bass... i can send the bass again to them, but its oso not bad to try here... btw how much ould it cost to fix the preamp prob...

Or you could sue them for false claims and get around RM25k. Imagine the basses you could buy with that amount of cash... wink.gif
