Frankly, playing any game of chance where the house has a statistical advantage over you will make you lose money in the long run as all your wins and losses balance out and begin to converge on the neat little percentage known as the house edge. So yeah roulette is fun and all, but it's a sure lose game no matter what betting method you use.

Relax I'm not arguing with you here. I basically agree with most of what you said so far. I was just stating that even the Martingale system is no sure method to beat the casino, which from reading your posts is something that you understand very well.

Here's a link to a more in depth explanation about why this is so. The gist of it is, you win more often but your returns are smaller and when you actually lose, you lose big.

At least I think we can agree that the most important part of gambling is knowing when to stop. Cheers.
