Kodi can install directly from google play store. Then just configure your nas to share file using smb or nfs. I use nfs.

my external HDD is 4TB so total size maybe differ and take more time to fully scan the entire HDD...  but media player scan much faster (dedicated device)
ya, using media player to play HDR file with broader setting range, BT709, BT 2020 & many others help me alot ... also for some mkv that have few selection of audio file (language) also not appeared on built in TV player..

I see. What MP do you use?

I just realized the x90h when just turn on the TV. The motion setting seems out of whack, although the settings shown on screen seem to remain the same as I previously set. But I can see motion artifact n ghosting very obvious. I need to go into the motion setting and turn smoothness setting to min then back to 1 (my usual setting). Setting for clearness is always set to 1 and cinemotion auto. after doing that the artifact n ghosting is gone.

I went to Harvey Norman and saw this on RM 3,600. Getting more and more tempting.

Was wondering if there are any shops that can issue receipts for the TV as a computing device? biggrin.gif

Tested voice control, all good. The touch feel is fine in general but the feel without it is definitely greater and better. Overall, it’s still a good buy that just cost not more than MYR15 while most local seller are selling almost double the price.

Ooo I see.

I found it works well on the 500GB HDD, not the 1TB HDD. No delay browsing the folders. As good as flash drive. But I use the Kodi player. I will try the skip fwd later.

"HDR using media player." Do you mean external TV box? 🤔

What audio you can't choose?

whats HDD format?
unable to read my NTFS HDD
but my ExFat thumbdrive can

same here. i can feel static electricity around the metal bezel. i avoid touching it if possible. i think its because its only 2 pin plug without any earth to ground it.

Actually now I'm planning to sell the TV, as the VA panel viewing angle not so good, my previous TV which is 70D is IPS.

My wife ask me why this TV looks bad, i thought its expensive, while seating at the side looking from our dining table, haha.

So i plan to go for X80H 65 inch.

X80H 65" or X90H 55" guys? Saw the harvey norman deal both are pretty similar in terms of pricing. X80H is RM3827 and X90H is RM3647.

Apologies for the late reply but yes. In IOI City Mall as some have mentioned. I believe you can lock in the price online too.

I'd also say I have surveyed over the past two days and I decided not to buy the TV.

Reasons:
1. I am unlikely to buy a PS5 this year (as it's unlikely to be launched this year).
2. The price is similar to other retailers offering during 10.10 and other periods too.
3. 11.11 is coming soon.
4. For reasons 1,2, and 3, I am willing to wait and try my luck.
5. Most importantly for me, my TV is only 3.5 years old. I feel bad changing so soon.
