QUOTE(Convael @ Sep 22 2020, 11:22 AM) Let's be honest , X900H has garnered a lot of praises mainly due to having a low price tags and so many great features ( namely HDMI 2.1 , Native 10 bit & 120hz panel ) . But if we are talking about pure PQ performance , it is not meant to compete with OLEDs as those belongs to the premium market . The affordable price tags also come with sacrifices , such as having 32 dimming zones limited its FALD performance by quite a bit . The cost of having low gaming input latency is evident , as Sony has limited post picture processing on this TV . Basically X900H is what X850 from previous years are , but with a local dimming system and HDMI 2.1 ports . If we are looking for the best LCD this year , it would be Samsung's Q95T no doub but it is far more expensive than other brands . yes, when comes to PQ, no way OLED can loose at least not for consumer grade product. The price itself already such a big diff. And i too agree the picture processing for x900h is actually quite annoying sometimes. especially the motion setting. there is no 1 setting that can suit all. diff type of content always has diff effects. I find myself keep on need to change the setting when watching diff type of source content.

I noticed when watching Netflix @ DV with Netflix Calibrated Mode - the subtitles feels very bright / glaring.
I tried adjusting the brightness but seems like on Calibrated Mode this cannot be changed - but if I switch it off, the brightness seems to always be defaulted at 'Max'.

Its more obvious when watching dark background movie.
