QUOTE(shitmyx @ Oct 24 2020, 09:24 AM) Since I don't have a tv box, I just installed SVI Go & IPTV4K on my Sony 65” X90H Android TV. Both apps work like a charm. I’m really happy because don’t need to buy tv box separately! Can share with us this 2 apps have what kind of content? I googled both seems similar to each other.

QUOTE(shitmyx @ Oct 24 2020, 10:39 AM) Yeah both are IPTV apps offering similar content. I subscribed both for 3 months to try out. SVI Go is cheaper (3 months RM40) while IPTV4K is pricier (3 months RM100). content wise is on par with each other? any of them got Sky Sports F1 channel?

I just realized the x90h when just turn on the TV. The motion setting seems out of whack, although the settings shown on screen seem to remain the same as I previously set. But I can see motion artifact n ghosting very obvious. I need to go into the motion setting and turn smoothness setting to min then back to 1 (my usual setting). Setting for clearness is always set to 1 and cinemotion auto. after doing that the artifact n ghosting is gone.

QUOTE(kezman @ Oct 26 2020, 02:43 PM) My X90H can feel electric static around it metal bezel if I plug in my PS4. is this normal? or is this current leakage? same here. i can feel static electricity around the metal bezel. i avoid touching it if possible. i think its because its only 2 pin plug without any earth to ground it.

QUOTE(xpepsimnx @ Oct 30 2020, 12:01 PM) hi guys should I add extra warranty for my tv is around rm540 for 2 years Do u wan to keep the tv for that additional years or do u prefer to upgrade newer tech? To me I prefer to upgrade newer tech. My tv 5 years ago was 1080p. Few years after that 4k is everywhere at a cheap enough price for most consumer to buy. I knew ppl that had additional warranty, n get their tv repaired n now make noise coz their wife don't allow them to buy new one coz old one still works. How? QUOTE(negayem @ Oct 30 2020, 02:23 PM) I want to upgrade to 9000H too but my 8 years plus 55" Panasonic Plasma is still going strong. My wife doesn't allow me to upgrade until it conked out. I got around my old Toshiba 37" LCD by giving it away to my mother-in-law, but this time no dice! This is the "problem" lo. Hahaha... So sometimes the tv kong within expected time frame is a hidden blessing. Lolz. No need spend the extra money for warranty. Just make trouble for yourself. I bought the tv already have 2 years + 1 year free warranty. 3 years feels reasonable for an upgrade

QUOTE(touristking @ Oct 30 2020, 04:15 PM) Newer doesn't automatically means better. I still have an old Plasma and the color still beats 90% of the LED on today's market. The only thing worth changing to is an OLED and those cost a bomb. Sure mate. Continue to enjoy your plasma. To each his own.

QUOTE(touristking @ Oct 30 2020, 04:36 PM) Have you seen a good plasma to say that? To me, a good TV must have accurate colors especially skin tones. I have a good plasma and been looking for a new TV for some time now. 90% of the LED color are off. Sure, some like Samsung can look super super sharp and impressive like a light canon but they are totally inaccurate in color. Only a few that have more accurate colors like Sony's 9500G is good and the OLEDs. Dude. Stop living in the past.

Or may be you don't even know what is naturalness or don't know what is the past to begin with. Or you one of those who automatically thinking everything New must be Better. In terms of color especially skin tone, OLED is a successor of Plasma. There is something organic about Plasma and OLED picture that I don't see in LED. But then I doubt you know what I am talking about. Do note i am only talking about color and not about other stuff like resolution etc. If you know what color means. Oh the irony. Talk so much n u came to the same conclusion as me. OLED is newer tech... This post has been edited by WhitE LighteR: Oct 31 2020, 07:46 AM

QUOTE(touristking @ Oct 31 2020, 10:19 AM) There are Plasma, LED. You seem to imply newer latest model LED can replace Plasma and should not live with Plasma and go into LED? You should go visit the past and go watch a good Plasma before opening your offensive post. sure man. yea. my post is offensive and yours is not. apprently saying newer is better triggered u to waste your time ranting here about plasma vs led, something no one even started to discuss about except u suddenly came out and start ranting here.

QUOTE(touristking @ Oct 31 2020, 10:39 AM) Dude. Stop living in the past and don't assume new LED is better than Plasma. dude. im not as ancient as u. anyway, i never ever said plasma is better than led. my words exactly was, "I prefer to upgrade newer tech". why u got triggered so much with what I like. this led vs plasma debate is only u having alone. no one is saying u are wrong or right. just u alone talking to yourself about the benefit of plasma. last plasma tv went out of style when? 2014? and u still talking about it. who is living in the past...
