I just realized the x90h when just turn on the TV. The motion setting seems out of whack, although the settings shown on screen seem to remain the same as I previously set. But I can see motion artifact n ghosting very obvious. I need to go into the motion setting and turn smoothness setting to min then back to 1 (my usual setting). Setting for clearness is always set to 1 and cinemotion auto. after doing that the artifact n ghosting is gone.

same here. i can feel static electricity around the metal bezel. i avoid touching it if possible. i think its because its only 2 pin plug without any earth to ground it.

Overseas received latest update for x90h showing support for tv-led dolby vision support. First for any sony tv.

Do u wan to keep the tv for that additional years or do u prefer to upgrade newer tech? To me I prefer to upgrade newer tech. My tv 5 years ago was 1080p. Few years after that 4k is everywhere at a cheap enough price for most consumer to buy. I knew ppl that had additional warranty, n get their tv repaired n now make noise coz their wife don't allow them to buy new one coz old one still works. How? laugh.gif

This is the "problem" lo. Hahaha... So sometimes the tv kong within expected time frame is a hidden blessing. Lolz. No need spend the extra money for warranty. Just make trouble for yourself. I bought the tv already have 2 years + 1 year free warranty. 3 years feels reasonable for an upgrade laugh.gif

I have a good plasma and been looking for a new TV for some time now. 90% of the LED color are off. Sure, some like Samsung can look super super sharp and impressive like a light canon but they are totally inaccurate in color.

Only a few that have more accurate colors like Sony's 9500G is good and the OLEDs.

In terms of color especially skin tone, OLED is a successor of Plasma. There is something organic about Plasma and OLED picture that I don't see in LED. But then I doubt you know what I am talking about.

dude. im not as ancient as u. anyway, i never ever said plasma is better than led. my words exactly was, "I prefer to upgrade newer tech". why u got triggered so much with what I like. this led vs plasma debate is only u having alone. no one is saying u are wrong or right. just u alone talking to yourself about the benefit of plasma. last plasma tv went out of style when? 2014? and u still talking about it. who is living in the past...

i heard the overseas firmware OTA update for x90h has been pull back. got user reported having drop audio and restart issues.

wow. 85" congrat! if can share some pic here would be cool. the size surely is very intimidating once set up finish.

i think some people here has suggested to give it some time for the tv to load all the files. its quite slow reading from usb.
