Need recommendation for new laptop

Hi,
Intended use: Surfing internet, watching videos online and offline. Light word processing. Ability to connect monitor will be useful but not essential. Most of the time will be plugged in at home, but I appreciate the portability. Should I consider desktop instead? Not sure AMD or WIntel setup is better. Budget: 2K to 3K. Thanks. |

Get any laptop with 9gen intel or higher, 8GB ram, 256gb ssd and 1080p screen with at least 1 usb-c port.
