Hard la, everyone wants free stuff but don't want to pay. Show more ads only lor. Sure there are people like me and you who will Ad-Block it away but there are a ton of people out there who don't.

people are already too used to free news. it will just give social media more leverage to spread their news, fake or real, to more people and most people won't even bother to verify them anymore since the source are all locked behind paywall.
