Hi everyone I decided to book a unit with EcoWorld on one of their high rise projects. The package that comes with my unit has multiple fittings like light fixtures and furniture like sofa and kitchen counter.

The SA gave me this timeline

Loan submission & approval - approx 1 month
Bank drawdown - approx 2 months
VP handover - approx 1 month
Defect checking - approx 1 month
Fitting & furnishing- approx 3-5 months
*but for fitting & furnishing, is estimated about this time frame.

Why VP handover before fitting and furnishing? Then like that if the fitting and furnishing got issue then the defect checking period over, I won't be able to claim?

I'm guessing it should be the unit is fully completed then VP? Thanks for any help.

Does your SPA lists the fixtures, fittings and furnishings? If not, then you have two separate contract, 1. one is the SPA for the building alone, 2. another contract for fittings and furnishings.

If unsure, go clarify with your customer service. You are a paying client who deserves to have your questions answered.
