for me mercato cause closer to me .... but when u go outside, u will realize how expensive are they compare with normal super market (no speedmart) ... crazy.

I always go Aeon and Aeon Big. But among those options given, Jaya Grocer.

I used to like going to Jason's then it got taken over by Jaya Grocer. Absolute pity.

I normally do my shopping at BIG @ Publika / IPC or Village Grocers at Atria.

The rest I don't particularly care for them as many of the BIGs don't carry a full range and their butcher and fish monger section are kind of crappy.

Village Grocers, not all of them are created equal, I only go to the one in Atria as the freshness is better and you can buy anti-biotic free chicken that doesn't stink when you cook it. The rest seem to be a hit and miss.

Many of those mentioned like Jaya Grocer, Cold Storage not really premium.

My favorite is Isetan. Lot 10 Isetan often have new latest trend of food, pastries from overseas.
In KLCC, have offerings of new types of food in their kiosks every week or fortnight.

I made the mistake of cooking the whole box at once. Now I know better.
Still kinda yummy if you sandwich the reheated leftovers between two really crispy pieces of bread.

cold storage at suria klcc is still up and running and very much alive too.

oh yaaaa how can i forget isetan. i love isetan klcc for their wide range of japanese products!

mercato = cold storage, both owned by dairy farm which also owns giant.

one downside about sam's is that they dont sell wine and pork products are absent. not that it's the benchmark to have pork, but it's good to have a full range of products for wide base of shoppers.

selected aeon stores like the ones at mid valley and 1u are positioned to capture a more premium market and i must say they are doing a good job in this.

the one at the linc is good too.
