Below are the latest existing plans in the market. Depending on your personal need and preference, can't go wrong with either of these companies although the premium chargeable is different.

AIA A-Plus Health
Allianz Medisafe Infinite+
Great Eastern SmartMedic Million
HLA MediShield III
ManuLife ManuHealth Elite
Prudential PruMillion Med

If u have this thought of surrender your existing plan and go for new plan. Pls keep in mind, start the new plan for 1 year only surrender the old plan. The reason to ask to do so is waiting period. not 120 days but 1 year to be safe.

I have prudential and prudentialBSN bought 10 years ago and recently bought Manulife Elite medical one ....

it has been 3 months and I should not cancel the existing both plans now but to wait another 9 months?

hi jack, to be exact, it is the contestability period that you need to be aware of. any new policy that you bought, there will be a 2 years contestability period whereby during this 2 years insurance companies have the right to investigate before approving any claims. so policyholder bears the risk of paying the amount of money (for medical expenses in this case) to settle the bill, then only submit to company for investigation purpose.

actually Manuhealth Elite is consider a good card and also is Manulife's latest medical card. not sure what other benefits you have in the plan. perhaps you dont need to surrender the whole thing. if you wanna change the card, you can opt for other companies one and just remove the medical card rider. life/CI insurance can remain.  wink.gif

ok. from what you mentioned in a few posts before this, you are paying RM240/month for Manulink Prime @ 80. there is only Life Insurance 3,900 and PA 5,000 and medical card MHEB150 right? not really many benefits i will say. at what age that you apply for this plan? if you were to apply a new one, perhaps you can also think of risk planning on life/CI insurance (if you want it).

Perhaps agencies from the so called the best insurance companies can propose me with their best plan with best value.

main reason why I don't recommend you to surrender that policy is because of its 100% allocation even from the 1st year of the policy. unless it is a super obsolete medical plan. if you are looking to top up your life insurance and CI coverage, you can top up to that plan. smile.gif

I opted to pay monthly. So wasted.some.money is ok in order to exchange better value product
