How much do these consultant normally earn per month?

Those Michael Page, Robert Walters, Hays etc.

Seems like a lot of graduates joining this industry these days..

I dun rmbr which one (I think Hays) charge the employer 2 months of the candidate's salary

the number of recruitment firms in msia seems to be somewhere between too much and infinity

every 1-2 week i get contacted by a recruitment firm i never knew existed.

And people wonder why job hopping is so prevalent right now lol

Basic ain’t high, commission would depend on the total amount earned from the positions you close.

He get you a job then he charge the company the salary you getting paid x2 or x3 months.

1 month comm go to the headhunter, and the rest go to the headhunt company

Last job was recruitment firm, just got a new job recently.

Even those small newly startup firms max will give 30% to the recruiters that’s provided they do both sales and recruitment. Bigger firms usually got a target for you to hit and the commission % increases when you hit or exceed the target.
