anyway, sometimes counter queue is faster if some slowpoke is using the kiosk.

Stupid machine sometimes no receipt so dont know what number,, again need to go counter to verify.
Later go counter they say not succesful, but seems like deduct already, need to proof.

the problem happens only at KFC?

so far my experience with mcd has been good.

KFC.. dont know why so outdated.

Drive thru and counter at most place don’t accept Credit/Debit card.

I think KFC always slower.

That time McD push very hard on Wave payment.
And did it very properly.

Then KFC want to follow suit.
Many counter wave or CC payment give excuse like CC offline breakdown etc etc. kFC will never be my choice

my area a lot of sohai like to hog the kiosk at mcd

McD is way advanced than KFC.
Now all orders have to go through kiosk, then for payment opt for card or cash at counter.
That is for my area only la.

KFC kill 2 birds with 1 stone, eliminate long queue, n fussy choosy customer

the stress when long queue starts building up behind you

actually KFC does have mobile app which allows self collect which you can order and pay online. Can't remember whether you can choose chicken part or not within the app.

but the real problem is, the few times I tried it, then go to the KFC counters and the staff is busy serving queued customers and have not even started to prepare the online order. and sometimes no one will serve "self collect" counter and you end up have to wait for the staff to come over, show them what has been ordered online, and then the staff will go search for the order slips from their machine, once confirmed only then they will start preparing. meanwhile, other customers in the normal queue already got their food. end up "self collect" is usually much slower than just order from queue.

good concept, but very poor execution in all the KFC branches that I have visited.
