i got 2nd gen shuffle. my friend said i can set the equalizer for the song in itunes and transfer it into my ipod to play in the settings i made. but i find that there are no difference in the sound. i can set other things in itunes (eg. wher to start the song, where to end, make the song play louder) but seems like cannot set the equalizer to play in shuffle. can anybody confirm that setting equalizer has no effect in shuffle?

[url=http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1296955[/url] http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61567Hope this helps, seems like the EQ settings on the iPods will change if your iTunes and Ipod are on auto sync, or else you would have to remove and re-add the song to your iPod for the EQ change to take effect. And of course custom EQs dont work in iPods. This post has been edited by civic98: Jul 21 2007, 05:20 AM

My theory is:-
All Shuffles are iPods, though not all iPods are Shuffles, since iPods have the function, therefore Shuffles will have it too.
Haha...
