Just think whether or not your voice would ever heard by the government! It is a step from taking your freedom away

Can follow Israel system

Elections in Israel are based on nationwide proportional representation. The electoral threshold is currently set at 3.25%, with the number of seats a party receives in the Knesset being proportional to the number of votes it receives. ... The legal voting age for Israeli citizens is 18.

how is it different from voting a bunch of independents to run the country?

you are essentially just removing the party lines and by extension the partisanship.
