diy USB Webcam as CCTV, extend cable, usb booster?

Can we boost USB signal up to 50 feets? (or boost the singal via UTP in machinery environment) so that we can connect usb webcam as alternative to expensive CCTV

but the webcam do not come with builtin web server, or u can thinking of using IP camera instead, example: panasonic BL-C1 Rm450 only now in market.
