initially i went 1.5000VCore, 2.0VDIMM, 1.55VNB, 1.75VSB, according to a1098113 it's too much, then lowered to 1.4250VCore and 1.3250VNB and 1.55 for SB

doh.gif, just crash and reboot while i game with 410x8, 1.4500, instead of lowering the VCore, i lowered the FSB to 400 because that's what i'm target currently... for now, seems stable even though not yet priming, going to try on even lower VCore soon brows.gif

ran ħ15 minutes Prime95, doh.gif auto reboot..., funny thing is i can game all night with this setting without any problem doh.gif tongue.gif... but i don't understand, what cause the reboot when priming? because used to get error message not forced to reboot unsure.gif

just now tried 400x8 @1.450V, successfully boot, later wanted to see how high my CPU FSB can go... lowering the CPU Multiplier to x7 and only can boot @410, does this mean already hit the wall? unsure.gif

ok... earlier this evening, tried on 400x6 (lowest multiplier), same setting as i used on 400x8 (stock multiplier), successfully booted, increasing to 405x6, booted... raised again to 410x6, booted, raised up again to 415... doh.gif sad.gif, not booted at all... tried raise Voltage on VCore, VNB etc... not helping at all... is 410MHz is the wall? unsure.gif

Some processors might have a ceiling of 410*8. As i would say, that u have already achieved an 100% OC, with 400*8 at decent voltages so i would not expect more. Wheter its a wall or not, thats really up to your deduction. I would believe it is a wall at 410, from your description.

doh.gif no la... it's not like that... E2140 = x8, E2160 = x9, E2180 = x10, that's the difference, other than that... the price, E2140 can get RM180 ~ RM220 and E2180 may go up to RM265 ~ RM285 icon_idea.gif
