QUOTE(clawhammer @ Feb 1 2008, 03:47 PM) I've tried Gigabyte DS3L, Abit IP35-Pro and Foxconn Mars. If you want to pair your E21xx for a good OC, Gigabyte is your best bet. Don't ask me why because I can't seem to figure out why the other too doesn't do well with the E21xx For IP35 Pro,try increase NB,increase FSB voltage to 1.49v. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Feb 11 2008, 07:43 PM) ok... earlier this evening, tried on 400x6 (lowest multiplier), same setting as i used on 400x8 (stock multiplier), successfully booted, increasing to 405x6, booted... raised again to 410x6, booted, raised up again to 415... That is about as high as non golden 21xx can go.E21xx all is around there.Only good batch can go beyond 400 so i will say your chip is actually good.Time to play E8400 |

QUOTE(sparrowed @ Feb 21 2008, 09:26 AM) ya, i can see that reaching 100% OC isnt hard, but giving that the amount of Vcore i need to bump, i believe my load temperature will reach 80C. i really dont know why my temperature is that high even at 1.30V and 3.14Ghz, reapply thermal paste still the same. is this normal for the e2160 stock heatsink? Get an Artic Frezzer 7 Pro,it is ok.Good HSF,should be able to handle 1.5v like that. |
