Haih, this thread should be title "Nintendo and you".

Sadly, as I recall, those games I listed up there are the only games I had(Chrono Trig pinjam). And we never really asked for more. How things have changed.

I could play Chrono Trigger over and over again with new game +. Upon finishing morning school, I'd start, and end about 6pm.

Mario All-Stars was endless fun, it had Mario 1(updated like XBLA games), Mario 2(updated too), Mario 3(da best), Mario Lost Levels, Mario Bros(vs. game), and Super Mario World if I'm not mistaken.

And if I were to count quarters for every match I played in SFIITurbo, I could buy another SNES(which was at least 1k initially). Not as great as Arcade version, but still one of the best versions.

Contra 3, the one with the mutant turtle boss in 1st level. Had one of the best features in Contras, top-down perspective view levels, dual-wield guns(dual Flame FTW), and.. and.. MODE 7!

Oh yea, I had a 'hacked' Mortal Kombat 2 also, which enabled you to execute Fatalities whenever you want. Two player starts as Sub-Zero, Both do Front Front Down Front Hard Punch.. Both frozen till end of timer laugh.gif

lol cool, sorry if I made you change the title, because that was not my intentions.

More memories, after SNES, of course there was N64. When One Utama opened, so was Toys R' Us, and they had a N64 on display. Everytime I had the chance to go there, I'd hit the N64.

Super Mario 64 was on display. That weird N64 controller made everything uncomfortable. But then, I realized that they made it in such a way(the trident controller) that you aren't supposed to switch hands at all times.

I don't think I ever got anywhere in that game, not even a star, if memory serves me right. This is because of limited play-time. Maybe it was parents, maybe it was the Toys R' Us workers, I do not recall.. This was YEARS ago, I'm lazy/bad at maths, so no YEAR for you.

Unfortunately, the display machine was.. disabled. They no longer kept it 'on'. I was sad. The controller was stuffed inside the plastic clear casing. The gigantic piece of hardware was beautiful, kinda reminds me of the Xbox now laugh.gif

Now sad story(for me), I had a lucky draw ticket for Toys R' Us, only 3 winners would be able to raid the store. Anything you dump in your cart, within the given time, would be yours.

Thinking I would be chosen, out of the 50+ kids that were there.. I proceeded to plan out my "purchase". Alot of kids went to the console section, where they had SNES, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and etc. etc. But they were all in glass cases. You had to take the card(the price tag actually) and dump it in your cart, to purchase it. The cards are kept in sleeves, which are then hung above the cases, respectively above the console(s) itself.

But they were smart. Those damn kids shuffled those cards all around, meaning they hid it somewhere(in another sleeve) so they can find it easily.

But alas, it was a #$%$@% lucky draw. I did not get called out, and I was sad/disappointed. There goes my N64 dream.

And that's why I didn't get a N64 doh.gif (because no cash too)
