an extra for 1K ? I am not sure about you but , 1k for a processor that will phase out within 1 to 2 years osn't workth it.If you want performance maybe you can consider laptop cpu E6850 3.0GHz  1333mhz with only RM999 if not mistaken.
All is up to you , if you really want to have a good performance laptop , maybe the best is 7T300 2.0 Ghz.Next year Q1 there'll be new penryn santa rosa refresh , not sure Dell will adopt it but the price is cheaper and perform better than thecurrent T7500.Up to you. smile.gif

So what you meant is that T7300 2.0 Ghz is worth more than T7500, right? How about T7100 1.8Ghz? Is it worth to pay extra RM300+ for an upgrade from T7100 1.8Ghz 2MB Cache to T7300 2.0 4MB Cache?

It worths the money if you r thinking to use it for at least 2 years to come. At least I have to say the 4MB Cache will benefit u alot than 2MB Cache. You prolly don't need 2.2 4MB Cache bcoz u can always overclock if you r that desperate. I'll say you would be fine with 2.0 4MB cache.

Yeah, i think i will go for 2.0 4MB Cache as I planning to use it for at least 3 years.

Btwn, can anyone recommend a cooler pad for 1520? I planning to on the laptop for at least 12hours a day and sometimes, gaming too.

I found out that Dell Complete Cover Plan had changed name to DellCare. Also, price is more expensive than the previous plan. I think it had happened right after PC Fair promotion ends.

Can someone verify this? If it is true, that's mean I need to bring down some specs to fit my budget. Hai...

Any extra coverage for the price increase?

If you meant extra coverage as in 'Years', it is still the same. But the difference is most probably the Night & Weekend Onsite1 Service, which is available in the Premium plan only and also, not available in previous complete cover plan.

The highest plan is DellCare Premium. Need to add +RM 659.00 (from 1Yr Standard Limited Warranty) in order to go for 3Yrs Complete Cover Plan .

3Yrs limited warranty (includes night & weekend) + 3Yrs plus phone support + 3Yrs CompleteCover + 1Yr HelpDesk
3 Years Complete Cover Accidental Damage Protection
1 Year - HelpDesk (Software, Virus, Spyware & Peripherals)
3 Years Plus Night & Weekend Onsite Service (M-F:0800-2100, Sat-Sun:0900-1700)
3 Years Plus Phone Support: Mon-Fri 0900-2100, Sat 0900-1600
