seriously la.. he say he never heard of the grainy issue... i have to guide him to dell community forums and read what micheal dell post about the lcd thing. I was gonna ask him if he's new. In the end i could not stand it, i asked " is this dell technical support side?", which he say yes and i thought i called the wrong number.

what about upgrade the memory myselft ?does this void the warranty ??

depends...just keep bugging them...they will speed up the delivery if they can...around 2-3 weeks time u will get it...penangite get the advantage, i got it pretty fast with the reason im going to overseas... mandarin language support? u mean dell support or the windows language? both also can...under regional and language in control panel setting...add in simplified chinese...for chinese customer support, just ask for it, they hv agent speak in chinese...

Btw, my 1680X1050 Samsung SEC3350 LCD is grainy & white colour produced is not white but dark.
I've just emailed Dell to request for replacement with LG XK309 which is 1000 times much better than the infamous Samsung.
This grainy is not good for my eyes. Hope to get good news from them asap.

I've just ordered 1525 last Saturday, still waiting for its arrival. The Dell website doesn't seem to update the "Order Received" status to the next one yet...I wonder what are they doing...
