Just ordered mine! Estimated arrival at 8 Aug 2007.

But I'm really starting to worry about the 1520's weight. Is it really THAT heavy?

My Command and Conquer 3 crash again. Should I blame the game or my 1520... grrrr....

I've searched high and low for the solution and I found that there's some people facing this kinda problem too. There are two possibilities I can think of:
1. The game itself, but not everyone is facing this problem.
2. The GPU is too hot to handle the game.
*
Yeah, there isn't any widespread C&C3 crashing issue I can find.

Well is there any fix for this?

How do you measure that?

One thing I notice is that finger print can be easily seen on the colour portion of the casing

*
Yeah, mine had finger prints on my jet black casing too.. blink.gif

Yeap, I'm still waiting for Dell/Nvidia/MS to release a suitable driver.
*
I tried installing one of Nvidia drivers that support the 8600m gt card and ended up with my Aero theme gone. windows experience index went down from 4.5 to a bloody 1.0..

Had to pull out my Dell's display driver DVD.

You mean ForceWare? I've updated mine to 163.11, no problem so far.
*
Yeah, mine was 101.xx. I'll try to get that version installed. But it seems that updating drivers still doesn't solve the C&C3 crashing problem.. sad.gif

Huh? Need to go collect? I thought DELL delivers to your doorstep??
*
I collect mine from some DELL linked PC company when I got the call. It arrived 3 days earlier than the EDD so no complaints. biggrin.gif

God..my 1520 just BSOD'ed again last night.. It happened like 3 or 4 times before but i just wrote em off as random hardware errors but this is seriously starting to worry me.. cry.gif

Another thing, my wi-fi never resumes connectivity after i sleep or hibernate my laptop. bringing up the 'connect to a network' windows jus results in a blank white screen! And whenever i try to shutdown after that happens, the shutdown always freezes and i'd have to force-shutdown it. GRRR..this is really getting on my nerves... So much for all the hype on Vista/1520? sad.gif

but i'd prefer an internal one..so that i dont need to plug in anything extra..

I found it on the US dell site but can't seem to find it in dell.com.my. sad.gif

Call Dell and see if they can add the module for u at an extra charge? It's still under warranty anyways, so u can always either pay a bit more and exchange for a new unit with the bluetooth module or ask them to add it to ur current lappy.
*
Ah..ok, will try that. Thanks! biggrin.gif
