I just got my phone yesterday it seems like my battery is draining quite fast and it gets increasingly warmer while I'm watching youtube. Is this normal? By the way my old phone is A5 (2017).

I just received my Note 10+ last Tuesday and wholly agree that the battery life is rubbish compared to Huawei. Can barely give me 5 hours of SOT with normal usage (no gaming, camera only used to scan Mysejahtera) from 8am to 9pm. Every time I unlock and do something with my phone (even if just 1 min), the battery will drop 1 percent. I tried switching to 1080p but noticed zero improvement in battery life. Now I stopped bothering and switched back to 1440p. However, standby drain seems fine as I only lost 4-5% overnight.

Have no idea how some owners in other forums can claim to get 8 to 10 hours of SOT consistently.

its been like that since anyone uses a samsung. Even my crappy RM450 phone have longer battery life than a samsung i think something got to do with the ONE UI

there is a device care widget that i place on the homescreen, so just press whenever i feel like it.

think it this way. Does the car always run like ferrari. It so called low power when running normal task i tried hua wei for 1 week the same usage i use can last 3 days while samsung can last 1 day is already WOW. Hua wei have a crappy UI . You mean you pay 3k to 4k phone it does not know how to manage its power you need to drive a kancil to manage its power better?

Sot now is 8 hours.

Previously when the phone is new, probably sot 3 hours only. Dint have the accucharge app last time.
Main culprit is google browser

Play movie
Google Talkback (some device)
Google play music (old phone)
And other did not remember

That what iphone does too. It kills apps as well.

probably the least fav of the line the plus.
i just wan a bigger battery than the normal s21.
ultra too overkill.

use to take picture of what i eat as of now is a waste

even my note10+ camera is underutilized thx to covid.

The spec looks similar to Note 20 5G but more expensive at RM4200. Samsung last week only sell the Note 20 5G for RM3000.

for me, not worth the RM1000+ difference. As for refresh rate, I would prioritize battery life over 120hz.

just went n try s series yesterday.
tho s21+ is my choice before testing.
if got chance i buy s21.
price reasonable.
s21+ just add battery and some screen size.
s21 ultra is too bulky even without cover on.
gosh if with flip case and pen.

Oh...After long thinking for a recent Samsung move to shift the Note series release on next year, I do think it is indeed a great move.

S series alternate with Note Series, since both of them is a flagship series.
Then along with the S and Notes, will come the Clampshell series too.

Good us economicaly and also good for them, since nobody will compare between Notes and S series.

Since the AMD will come to the chip making, I have strong confident that Samsung will leads the Smartphone battle again.
