just curious

did Samsung screw up the notification panel design with recent updates?

it looks damn ugly now on stock dark/light mode where the shade is different tone/color for notifications and the "Notification Setting/Clear" area follows the background

i was using Hex Installer before this so my theme was custom.

i googled but it used to be the same color

so ugly lah

the "Clear Notification" button should be seamless with the notification bubble background itself

it was like that during early update of Android 10 / One UI 2.0

dunno why after a few more updates, it became like that

made me wanna continue using Hex Installer more

thought can go back stock for the full One UI experience

Now it made the note10 look like a stupid noob phone with china UI

not to mention laziness!! The bubble curves on the note series should be much lesser but they go make it follow the curves of the S series

Don't think they're rushing it since its already curved like that since Android Pie / One UI 1.0

That's why i use hex installer to fix these ugliness and inconsistency

As for cache cleaner.. nope i dont use it but if i do need to clear cache I'll boot to recovery and clear them

Its still beta but it's 95% stable.. at least for me

The only issue i noticed are:
- if you use gestures and you use dark mode with a darker wallpaper..apps like phone dialer, the bar will go darker (but this does not happen in light theme)... So i just use full screen (hints off) to fix this

- favourite contact star is missing but if your muscle memory works well you'll know where it is to star and unstar

- other than these 2 issues, i dont see any other issues so its stable for me

nowadays i feel that T-max quality is not so good

very fragile and easily cracked

mine got cracked, then replace. just 3 weeks later crack again with the slightest knock..

thinking of trying other brand

was even considering the non glass type of protectors but its easily prone to scratches.. and im not sure about the sensitivity

still prefer to try other glass though

i just realized samsung pay now has dark mode

to my fellow OCD note10/note10+ users

samsung messed up again with past recent updates

using stock theme with stock wallpaper, the icon text is dark grey, but the text on the status bar is white!!!

dont understand how they could mess this up

my OCD eyes cant stand it

mine is showing white text on the clock, icons

should i try to clear my launcher cache?

ok! i try to clear cache and re-set my homescreen

hmm cleared my oneui launcher cache

with stock theme my status bar text/icons are still white

its a bug with the task switcher good lock module

disable that, restart and you should be fine.

anyone here uses matte or anti glare screen protectors?

how is it doing for you?

wondering if its worth sacrificing the beautiful display from samsung from a crystal clear full glue to a thin film matte/anti glare plastic protector

do we need to format if we jump from one ui 2.0 to 2.1?

because recent samsung update seems like messed up my status bar if i use stock theme with stock wallpaper

everywhere else has black text but the status bar is white test

my note10+ suddenly started facing random reboots after a whatsapp call.

even restarting also will reoccur

the phone seems to get too hot

i shut down the phone for 10 mins now.

lets see what happens later

okay nevermind, seems like a buggy app

it was either whatsapp, chrome or netflix for me (they were my last used 3 apps before the random reboot happened)

cleared data of all 3

phone no longer reboots

scary man, apps can cause phone to overheat and reboot

lucky not hardware failure

may consider to jump back to oneplus (9 or 9 pro)

considering the 8pro.. they say its now finally flagship camera quality

next phone might no longer be samsung

feel that after s20, there's no special features to differentiate between note series and s series anymore

plus i was never keen on the s-series as note series are the more complete flagship of the year.

and rumoured online that in the future, they plan to dissolve the note line up and make it to fold-series + s-pen

judging from how Samsung works with the updates..

expected for Note 20 to launch with One UI 2.1 then around Feb/March 2021 only will get One UI 2.5

S20/+/Ultra to get 2.5 around Jan 2021

Our note 10 is probably "old" by then so middle of 2021 only can get One UI 2.5

unless a miracle happens
