He did mention that the Samsungs are the Exynos versions. And it is in fact indicated. Having said that though, not really a big surprise as it is on stand-by that Samsungs with this version that leave more to be desired.

Whilst it is superfluous and admittedly annoying at times, it is their prerogative to do so. In fact, it happens here at LYN as well. There may be people who could have missed those news. So, one has to accept it and move on.

Can anyone else vouch for this? If it’s true then perhaps we should explore further to see what other apps contribute to saving battery life of this phone. It’s important given the fact that same is a bane of this particular device.

Who knows? By deleting those apps will make all those complaining about this issue love the phone again

But now same question asked of your 8-9 hours. You are saying from 100% your phone can last for that duration only! If so, how do you use your phone? Or are you saying that’s your SOT. If so, what’s your stand-by time?

Reason I am curious like a cat is because the numbers are alarming if what you said is true. That’s why elaboration or perhaps a correction is needed, not just for me as I am sure others are just as curious.

Permit me to say this, notwithstanding that the SD variant is deemed to be better than the Exynos’.

I am having the local unit and generally getting more than 24 hours battery life with an average of 5 hours SOT. In fact, occasionally the phone can last more than 30 hours with about the same SOT. This, I am telling, is to reiterate what I have always been saying and that is the battery life is always dependent on your usage. Yes, there are other phones out there with better battery life due to their software but for this Samsung Exynos, it is not as bad as many have advocated if you are an average user. So, know your needs and wants particularly usage pattern when you are looking for a smartphone to buy.

Scammers, cheaters, con men are everywhere. So, in every sales platform, there will be their kind. Of course, there are genuine sellers as well as buyers, in fact much more than these jerks.

One just has to be careful, alert and street smart in order not to be conned. Don’t be blinded by greed or an apparent good deal.
