Anyone experience random heavy drop frame on note 10+?

Hi guys,

Should i get note 10+ or wait for note 20 ultra?

I was playing game, then pull down to disable wifi, tat bar come down and up frame by frame and the reopen the game also frame by frame

Is this considered normal battery life? It's on maybe 90% wi-fi, and i think it is very good! Normally on data i'd get around 5+ hrs to 6+ hrs

not sure about it....didnt use chrome since samsung internet is good though

For me it is certain website at certain time. I suspect it is the ads.

i feel quite accurate if i compare both photos.
i mean if 5-10% inaccuracy is good enough as well.
just as a gauge not to make any important decisions or what.

i previous use samsung internet due to dark mode but fall in love with it when u can have adblock as plugin
not sure chrome can do it or not i didnt try. but for samsung internet its built in haha

generally like chrome no issue with it.
think u can have pluggin in chrome on ur comp for syncing bookmarks between samsung browser and chrome

samsung internet has add on for desktop chrome, it syncs your chrome bookmark to S.I on your phone

Note 10 plus on wifi really slow. Seems like there is a delay in receiving the data from a full wifi signal. There is no problem on my desktop though.

The same goes with lte connection. Celcom say network congestion. But i use my 2nd phone ok no problem.

I change the APN protocol in the apn setting to only use ipv4. then i have no problem with lte connection. stock ipv4/ipv6 setting gave me the same problem like yours. I dont have any problem with wifi tho...

Sometimes I had friends come over to the house. Their xiaomi, old samsung phone can get better 4G reception in my room than my note 10. And that is frustrating. For wifi, my place only have streamyx so I dont think faster internet connection is the solution. The signal is full, but the packet data coming in delayed for 1-5 minutes then it comes in.
So I already reconfigure the APN so ipv4. Waiting to see if this works. Thanks for the tips!

i scared im too stucked into samsung pass that my next phone must be a samsung.
its not like its bad just that im good to having more choices available.

i dont browse web much normally lyn and some google search.

mine is not that bad but is on auto ipv4 and ipv6

i only come across ipv6 recently due to fibre connection. previously all th ip i see is ipv4 (at home) change dns for ahemm hahahha

judging from how Samsung works with the updates..

expected for Note 20 to launch with One UI 2.1 then around Feb/March 2021 only will get One UI 2.5

S20/+/Ultra to get 2.5 around Jan 2021

Our note 10 is probably "old" by then so middle of 2021 only can get One UI 2.5

Guys just today i noticed my screen has a dead pixel

The top right edge appears lifted up

Sent to service center, they said it's because of the loca glue ingress used in tempered glass, then it damage the lcd screen as well

To replace the screen is rm1000 for note 10 plus

Lucky thing under the extended warranty (marsh), so can use that to change the screen

They also changed the battery

Somebody posted this issue before

So because of this i can't recommend the loca tempered glass anymore

Side note: they also mentioned the tempered glass has this smell. The smell is acetone, fruity smell. Used in finger polish. The screen actually looked like it was dissolved from within instead of ingress to me

They also changed the battery, they said they will claim the claimable marsh warranty

But the cool part is, the capacity between the new and old seems the same. Which is a good thing

Back then with older phones after close to a year can feel the battery lose 25% of its capacity
