QUOTE(imin @ Feb 21 2020, 04:23 PM)
Are you sure the only reason they were arrested is because of possession of those photos? AFAIK our police is very impartial and professional when dealing with this kind of cases. Anyway, that's the reason why we want the trial in court. To really determine whether they're really terrorist sympathizer or else. Now this sampah AG just throw the case out. Really really really sampah.

do you know of more info than what is being reported in the news?

Malays hate LTTE in particular?

More like any terrorism in general.

But the same can't be said about some of the Malays who seems to idolize ZN.

LTTE movement is already dead for more than a decade. Even in Sri Lanka, it is no longer a threat. If they bring those people to court, it will just be flagging a dead horse. If Malays feel LTTE is a terrorist organisation, what about Hamas & Palestine. The situation is more or less the same. Why the double standard? LTTE like Hamas is also fighting for their rights to establish their own country. The only difference between LTTE and Hamas is religion.

Yang dah mampus tu mampus aja la. Kenapa nak dibanggakan lagi dan nak kena letak lagi gambar dia setiap kali ada perhimpunan? Padahal LTTE pun dah takde, tapi kat malaysia masih nak banggakan LTTE. Tak paham aku. doh.gif

When I voted PH, i expected them not to exceed BN by miles. I just wanted them to at least have moral high ground.

That was my mistake.

13. It is noted that 6 of the accused have been charged for offences that allegedly took place between March and December 2014. But prosecutors did not see it fit to charge them soon after the alleged offences had been committed. It is against the public interest that these 6 persons are tried in 2020 for offences allegedly committed 6 years previously. The passage of time is unacceptable for a case of this nature.

14. The charges relating to the other 6 accused concern offences allegedly occurring in January and October 2019. But by this time, even if LTTE was still gazetted under our laws as a terrorist group, the defence will contend that LTTE has not been responsible for violence even in its home country, Sri Lanka in 2019, let alone having any impact on the ordinary affairs of ordinary people in Malaysia. The link is remote, specious and tenuous. Harm to Malaysians cannot be established by the prosecution.

Sebagai tanda hormat. Ini adalah cara mereka memperingati jasa-jasa orang yang mereka hormati. Ini adalah kepercayaan mereka. Adakah ia salah disisi undang-undang?

Has this group of people done anything that harm Malaysians?

LTTE is already dead even in Sri Lanka. It is a toothless dead tiger.

So, you think it is right to send a group of person to jail for not committing any offence?
