QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Jul 23 2020, 11:24 AM) Lots of people pointing the finger towards kepa, but I think the only goal you can question him is perhaps the fifth. I'm more pissed with willian, who had alonso pick him out perfectly in the box and unmarked, but took a rubbish touch instead. Then he proceeded to assist keita with a wonderful pass inside towards our own box, which gave him a clear shot at goal. Key turning points in the game and he was involved in the worst way. I agreed Kepa cant affected the scoreline, because he not even tryDefending awful as usual, but that freekick from arnold never should've stood, kovacic got the ball perfectly, yet mane went down like a sack of potatoes and VAR didn't even bother to check, despite having good reason to. Getting tired of these divers getting decisions against us and VAR being bloody useless at the most crucial times. After pulisic got his goal, we went through an odd 10 minute spell where we didn't really do anything, and we let liverpool regain control of the game. So many things wrong with the fifth one too, from the freekick which was easily cleared by liverpool, to jorginho deciding he shouldn't rugby tackle near the halfway line, and that cross which was let in so easily. Big chances missed: mount with an unmarked header via a cross from james, willian with that useless first touch after alonso played him in, and pulisic with that shot which went wide just wide, again reece the provider. I'm just relieved moyes and west ham did us a favour, though it would've been nice to secure a CL spot with a point. Apart from that, I know kepa's due a replacement, but honestly can't see how he would've affected the scoreline today, apart from maybe the last goal. All the others were practically unsaveable:- 1. Keita's strike off the bar and in. 2.Arnold's freekick into the top corner(should've been ruled out) 3. Wijnaldum smashing it in from 5 yards, schoolboy defending on a corner, yet again.yawn. 4. Firmino'a header from 3 yards. Only positive was cap's electric cameo I guess. Could've had 2 goals and an assist. just look at this video All the three Chelsea defenders were shouting at Kepa for not stepping out of his line to claim the ball. The defenders clearly don't trust him anymore. this sum up his whole season » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

I'm ok if players try and fail, just like second half
but I can't stand we fail without trying, and that's what kepa did yesterday #Kepa0ut |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Jul 23 2020, 06:57 PM) Not sure what else chelsea can do to help him, it's down to a mentality problem it seems. It's like he's terrified of being clattered or something, and that freekick which floated right in front of his face was really something else. I guess the club can't wait for him to magically buck up anymore. Kind of regret us not giving marcin bulka more of a chance, may have saved us a ton of money. I think his case like morata, once no more confident then gg QUOTE(AnythingK @ Jul 23 2020, 08:05 PM) Talk about Alonso, I watched a few Chelsea games when I have the time, and as a Liverpool fans with superb fullback. I always facepalm when looking at Alonso crossing. I dont even know what is he doing. ur guys have TAA and robertson, why bother looking at alonso QUOTE(derthvadar @ Jul 23 2020, 09:19 PM) he is exhaustedQUOTE(fzrnhkm @ Jul 24 2020, 12:37 AM) NEW footage has emerged showing fuming Frank Lampard telling the Liverpool bench to "f*** off" during a heated touchline row. Lampard already like this during at derbyThe Chelsea boss branded Liverpool "arrogant" after the title winners dented their Champions League hopes with a thrilling 5-3 victory. The incident was sparked after Mateo Kovacic was adjudged to have fouled Sadio Mane as the Senegal star broke at pace. Lampard was furious with the decision and made his thoughts to the fourth official well known. But it sparked a reaction from Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool bench who were then locked in a war of words from the technical area. "How is that a foul? There's no foul there." He then tells Klopp to "sit down" before getting more irate when Klopp repeatedly tells him to "calm down." Lampard then responds: "If he's going off at me I'll f****** say something." Klopp's assistant Pep Lijnders then appears to weigh into the argument in which Lampard shouts: "You can f*** off and all. "You think you can give it the big one, f*** off." Haverts wants to leave Bayer and join Chelsea. Personal terms have already been agreed: €9M/season till 2025. In a few days there will be an official bid from Chelsea to find agreement around €80M. Chelsea are the only club in the race.

QUOTE(fzrnhkm @ Jul 25 2020, 01:59 PM) For what it’s worth, Lamps were pissed at the Liverpool bench as he said they crossed a line. Not sure what the bench are saying to him though, but it definitely was something that ticked Lamps off that he behaved that way JK handled it very well, what happened on the pitch ends after the match endedAnd again for what it’s worth, it also showed how passionate the manager is in defending our players (who are not at fault) to the point he could say fuck off to Klopp. Man, that sure felt good eh boss.
