Youth got no gametime

The whole team, Lamps included, need to take a lesson from this. Everybody needs to pitch in, the worst issue that we have is the defensive part

We’ve brought Werner and Ziyech, but sadly i’d say we’d still kelong 3-4 goals each game next season if we don’t do something about our defense

For what it’s worth, i believe bringing quality defenders would only partially solve the defensive problems, as our tactical gameplay got something to do with it too

It might take at least few more seasons before this problem could be fully solved imo

What i wonder is the fact that, whether we as fans, and Roman too, have the patience with our gaffer and give him the time he needed to step our game up

An open letter from Willian to the blues

Frank Lampard in his first season at Chelsea, with the transfer ban and Hazard leaving, getting into top 4 spot while defeating the big 6 Liv/City/United/Arsenal/Spurs using youth is definitely an achievement for me

FA Cup final (albeit losing to Arsenal) is also quite an achievement, although it’d definitely be sweeter if he could end this season with a silverware. Got nominated for Manager of the Season, too

Achievements aside, there’re also bit part negatives too. Imo he needs to learn more om the tactically aspect, as to balance both the XI’s offensive and defensive play, and be more bold to make crucial changes during match. In this aspect, he also needs to learn to analyze the game to ensure substitutions made could be game-changer as well

7/10 for me. I think he knew that next season the pressure for him to deliver will be more, with new signings coming and the Lampard revolution begins, there’ll be little to no excuse for him to use should the team performance drop below par.

It’s gonna be exciting to see how this turns out. But for what it’s worth, i believe he deserve some time to fully instill the winning mentality back into the team. Hope our signings can help achieve this too
