I think Abraham is poor too although he scored a goal, in fact he could scored two
and I really dont like his attitude during the final minute...
he got the chance to clear the ball away but he dont,
and then he lost possession, he just stand there and look at opponent, instead of regain back possession or run to stop the opponent

ATTITUDE matters!

joji times with chelsea looks under threat if that gilmour kid keeps on playing and improving every games....

i like the gilmour kid balls distribution and incisive pinpoint pass better than joji...thought i think joji only saving grace is his experience and composure...

simple fix:

field gilmour for big games while joji for less vital games...

or field gilmour as first team, then sub joji when required

after all...gilmour is younger and has more energy

DON'T OVERREACT ABOUT NO CENTRE BACKS

Chelsea board are not naive. We will get those defensive reinforcements. The thing is, Chelsea are prioritising aquisitions of generational talents (elite world class) like Ziyech, Werner & Havertz. Chelsea did not want to get into a bidding war for any of these players, hence why these moves were prioritised ahead of getting defensive reinforcements. Objectively speaking, without a release clause Werner & Ziyech could have easily cost us +100m "each" . The same goes for Havertz, in a bidding war he would easily cost 150m.

On the other hand, players like Tagliafico, Telles, Alaba, Rice, Areola, Onana, Upamecano etc.... Are not that high in demand. As such, there is less pressure to finalise these deals as early as we have done with our attackng players. We are still going to go for defensive reinforcements this summer but we are in no rush for the reasons i listed above

Hopefully there are no more complaints about CFC not getting defenders etc... We will ........

It’s close biggrin.gif latest rumors are saying Havertz is handing Leverkusen a transfer request to come to London

Meanwhile Chelsea fans are divided as to whether we need him or world-class defender(s) in the coming transfer window sweat.gif

Tbh I believe we’ll go for two more players after Havertz; a LB in terms of Tagliafico/Telles and a CB in terms of Upamecano/Rice. Personally i like the latter in both said positions

Chelsea wonderkid Gilmour out for rest of the season after suffering knee injury - Goal.com

“Chelsea's injury problems in midfield are growing after Billy Gilmour was ruled out for the rest of the Premier League season due to a knee injury.

The 19-year-old came off with 10 minutes to go after starting his side's 3-2 away win at Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening.

Along with Gilmour, N'Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic are expected to miss this weekend's clash with Sheffield United after suffering minor hamstring and Achilles problems respectively.”

Looks like Lamps might still need to depend on Jorginho after all

for LB...i prefer alaba

if we don't get players at the back...does that mean chelsea will focus more on attack rather than defense ?

need to understand that we are losing pedro and willian.

replacement werner and ziyech. direct one on one swap.

as for Havert(if) he can play 8, 10, winger and striker. not a bad player to have.

as for striker position with possible incoming havertz, together with werner and tammy, that already 3 players competing there. We can either sell or maintain jirud for one more season.

the problem now is that recently chelsea was playing with two No.8, we maybe need to sell one or two midfielders here.

I still believe that we will buy some defenders once the transfer window officially open. LB and maybe one more CB.

RB position also in need of an upgrade...if azpi injured...only left with james (and we all know how he defends)
