my mom is still subscribing to astro mainly because of wah lai toi/AOD for latest TVB drama.

i'm not very familar with tv box but i've heard that i can stream TVB dramas without any issue

my question is, will the "link" or "channel" be able to stream after a year? Reason being I'm not at home often and I won't be able to update / do settings to the tv box if one day the tvb channel can't stream any longer.

OR there won't be any issue at all, meaning plug and play and can stream forever until the tv box go kaput?

which cny show? I only saw 1 cny show available on evpad

make sure u have fast and stable internet connection

get viu for your mom. Got kimchi got china got tamil got melayu semua ada. Netflix also not bad if your mom wants english

netflix is not bad cos got chinese sub now. quite worth. viu content not so ons, just need tvb drama

another question is ...can i choose the episodes like netflix? or it's exactly like live tv channel ?

if u wan hassle free, just continue wif astro, cos all these tv box or illegal streams quite unstable wan, most of the time the server cannot load and will keep buffering, u have to wait n wait n wait, got fast connection also useless wan

n those paid ones (got astro channels and server more stable no buffering) will be gone once they got busted n u need to find new provider again

these tv boxes suitable for us young ppl la cos we noe how to use it n configure it when got issues, but old people they dont know, so if the stream got problem they are gonna keep find u

If I were you, I wouldn't bother getting these TV box. Paid is still better.

Bought an evpad. It stopped working now and lags like a dog when it is powered on.

When it doesn't lag, the TV streaming channel doesn't even work.

sure will have one, especially those free ones, always will have server down issue, if free ones, mayb 30-40% of the time the stream will be working

even those paid tv boxes (wif monthly subscription) also got server down issues like 10% of the time
