im looking for some reliable and good 2.5" HDD enclosure....
which brand's enclosure is better?
my budget is around RM150.....

another thing is im looking for the Cooler Master X Craft 250's price....
can anyone tell me how much is that?

i m using xcraft with seagate 120gb model 5400.3
i feel it's not a good choice coz rumours say that xcraft usb is actually working at 2.0 and not high speed 2.0
so u will suffer quite a lot if u transfer large files a lot (above 1gb)

if u hv the budget, go for sarotech

the only best thing with it is the bag provided.
the shinny surface attracts thumb prints, vertical stand will make it more vulnerable to bad sectors due to accidental falls, even the ventilation holes r not full frame. it's only at the front.
the 1 touch backup is just a hype. u need software to be installed n constantly running in the background to hv that feature which to me is uselss coz the background process will hog resource.

overall, find a better option.

esata mean can direct detect ur hdd once u connect to ur lappie or pc lo..tat is wad i heard from my fren la.coz usually when we buy new hdd n connect to our pc,need to restart n do this do that baru can use rite,esata is like pendrive lo,plug n play eh..correct me if i am worng ar..hehe.

by the way,abt the USB speed?wad do Hybrified means leh?u mean transfer speed kah??from sata to usb mine oways 15-25MBPS lo..

How come need to restart PC when connect the new HDD? I thought just only need to format the new HDD then only can use?

mine sarotech & philips also dun need restart under winXp.

speed wise is also same with my both casing hdd.
