Only in Malaysia you can introduce inferior tech and force people to use it.

sadly true compared to advanced countries, but so many less-advanced countries worse than Msia

True. Visitors from Vietnam, Indonesia and quite a few other countries envy our highways.

But if we are to advance, we cannot be satisfied just because we are better than less advanced countries. The RFID is a very old tech. Why can't we use the same tech as Singapore? Never needing to stop by any tolls, just drive pass gantry gates. Yes, it's a much more expensive tech, but we have much bigger number of vehicles. Don't tell be with our volume, we cannot nego the price down? We're probably paying the same price for Singapore's system, but most of the money has gone to 'facilitators', so we end up with RFID.

Singapore is using what kind of system? Not RFID?

Active RFID if I recall correctly. If you drive around in Singapore, you will notice the big difference.

T&G RFID is passive RFID.
