I want to train on the road for my JPJ test. But scare kena tangkap by police then license gantung. To clarify, i meant by driving my personal car without my instructor. Maybe with my parents on the road.

Anyone with experience kena tangkap with L license? What are fines that would be imposed or any tips to avoid kena caught?

Edit: I meant L license car. Manual to be exact.

With the L license, you can do the following :-

Ride on a bike but as a single rider only ( cant carry passenger )
Drive a car but must be accompanied by a person with full driver license ( not P ). The person must have x number of years active. I cant remember how many years, 3 or 5 years.

You can drive but you need to paste the L on the car and ensure the person with you has a full license with number of years on the road.

your parent is an experience driver, not instructor. on top of that, they are not driving it while you're learning.. that experience doesnt help you at all and make it possibly safe for you.

Thanks everyone. In the end i just bought a P sticker and slap it there to avoid suspicion from police. Luckily today i manage to pass my JPJ test. So no need sneak around with L license edy.

Don't do it. The public roads are NOT a test track for inexperienced drivers.

Don't get me wrong, I know how it feels to have the confidence to do something you're clearly not allowed to do, but one small mistake and you can kiss that license goodbye and trying to falsify your sticker is also an offense.

Think about it, even people with years of experience get into accidents, what makes you think you're immune? Ask for more training with your instructor instead. You'll thank yourself when you're older.
