QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Feb 13 2020, 01:47 PM) Sorry what? Does that means everyone shares they same amount? No. All parcels (units owned) must pay according to the share units allocated to the particular parcels. Not all parcels being allocated the same share units. Share Units Calculation done by Licensed Land Surveyor, approved by Jabatan Ukur and certified by Land Registrar (PTG). Share Units calculation basically based on: 1) Parcel Area (sqm) 2) Accessory Parcel Area (car parks/aircond ledge) 3) Usage Type (mixed development such as commercial, residents etc) all being assigned to a constant

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Feb 13 2020, 02:00 PM) Apologies but isnt that the same as count by sqft ? no, share units take into consideration of things you own, and your usage. so, it will be different. For example, if your car park lot allocated outside of main building, the weight is lower than the car parks within the main building. Besides that, the new Act prepared for mixed development such as condominium and landed houses within a land title. So, the land parcel does not use the lift, so, theoretically they are not paying for lift maintenance. Something like that la, I am no expert, still learning.

QUOTE(q135 @ Feb 13 2020, 08:30 PM) Strata title slow at Perak. VC also no strata title. I believe most states still cannot issue strata title, but service charges and sinking fund still follow share units
