I had sinus for 5years still going, every night/morning are suffer.
Many doctor, the famous everything same temporary fix only

Last 3years I study oversea, my sinus gone for for 3years
I come back malaysia now
Sinus come back

I think it's food problem. like curry, spice indian/malay one. or malaysian food just cause sinus like the chicken here seem kinda odd and I don't felt nutrition as oversea (For malaysia chicken I eat I feel more cold only IDK, I got no issues like this at oversea)

Any expert in this or fellow victim know what to do?

I think the reason is hot and humid here which easily gets infectious from bacteria.

I've been in Beijing last year for a week, no sinus issue at all. The environment there is cold and dry.

Same problem here. When I was studying in UK, sinus never hit me. For me, I think it's the weather and air quality. I've seen few specialists, still can't solve my sinus problem. Just rely on medicine.

I have this sinus problem too and I believe it has something to do with the weather or consistency of temperature. This sinus thing will "attack" me whenever there is a change in temperature, for example suddenly walk into a cold aircond room from outside hot environment and vice versa.

Also, morning time when wake up, it happens as well, I have to assume night time while sleeping, weather/temperature is low and when wake up time weather/temperature no longer the same. Weather here is not consistent, between day and night temperature is different. Been to Taiwan last year during their cold season, whole day morning till night also same cold temperature and surprisingly enough I never had this sinus problem during my 2 weeks stay there. Got to love the cold weather there!!!

I have tried quite a number of medication before in the past, including those spray and drop one, unfortunately those only could provide temporary relieve, not a long term one. I think this kind of thing no medication can fully cure one. When it gets worse until cannot tahan, I use "illadin" drop, then at least night time can sleep peacefully!

its not food that causes the issue, its more the enviroment you're in that causes it. i too had it for years till i got fed up and went to remove it. ever since then no issues but the doctor told me it will grow back in 10 years. that was like 15 years ago and now i'm slowly experiencing the same thing again..

2,.5k, 15 years ago so by now i wont know how much it costs..

no pain after surgery, but couldnt breath through the nose for a week or so during recovery. overall painless experience just a major pain in the ass for not being able to breath through the nose.

I suggest u go visit ENT specialist.

My dear just went last week and did surgery and now resting at home for recovery.

During the ENT appointment the doc scope the nose and ask for CT scan, total cost around RM380 and if doc says need surgery then can claim your medical card if u have one, and the RM380 also can claim back later as pre-hospitalization claim.
If doc say no need surgery but just ask u take medication then too bad u ownself have to fork out money lah..that is the only risk lol.
But if u are currently working, u might be able to claim under company for this.

i had sinus for the past 20 years. running nose and sneezing but finally cured it  (more or less)  with daily dose of vitamin C and bee pollen supplements.

occasionally if it does happen i will take medicine pills called clarinase which you buy from pharmacy

Yes, aircond can cause it, but only at certain temperature, I mean for my case. Anything 20c and below, nose can easily get irritated (meaning it's a sign the sinus problem is coming). My method to overcome this is, before sleep, on aircond first, set 20c, after 10-15 minutes only I enter the bedroom, and immediately tune up the aircond temperature to 26c, with the most minimum fan speed, then i can sleep until morning peacefully, next morning wake up won't have any sinus problem. In office also I set aircond temperature to 25c, ngam ngam, nose won't get irritated. Maybe for other people can be different, so kena slowly fine tune i guess
