All your shots except the chandelier are low light? I noticed that the flash is fired. Low light shot doesnt use flash.

Yes...all shots are in low light. (except the chandelier).

Because I m using the auto mode, so the flash will popup automatically when the camera detects a low light condition.

Try to avoid shadow which is created by your flash = boost up ISO or shutter speed or get SB600 / SB800

Js my 2 cents

i read the kenrockswell it says: to use P mode when u're handling over your cam to someone who doesn't really use dslr. Anyway is P mode good all the way?

what should i always watch out using manual? aperture shutter etc?

Actually I hand the camera to people who doesn't use dslr on the A mode. P mode still requires certain tweaks.

Am using M mode now. Will snap ugly shots until I get it perfect! tongue.gif M mode need to look at aperture and shutter.

The rest like metering, white balance, ISO, EV and flash will have been handled when you are in P mode as well.

I'm also new to this photography thing but I believe you need to find some kind of message or a focus with your pictures.

Don't be scared of getting dirty. Crawl on the grass, look like an idiot if you have to, if you want that shot, you got to get it. Have fun and hope to see more pics from you smile.gif

Your photos looks saturated... I would have preferred a more natural colour, just a personal preference.
And you blur the BG during post process? I'm seeing artifacts.
Try using a longer focal length, you will get a nicer out of focus BG.

Next time when you are in KLCC park, try capturing photos of those children enjoying themselves in the pool. Those make great photos.
The landscape there is just too boring.
