QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Feb 12 2020, 04:18 PM) then u'll be holding on for quite a long time. maybe that's just their strategy to market diff chipset to diff market, but do note that they have started to introduce SD into S10 lite recently so maybe in the future they might interchange the chipset for our market.there is no reason for Samsung to put the snapy snap here in malaysia when they can just sell plentiful of their Exynos. i have no urge of changing for time being..x apa lah, pakai saja dulu.. |

QUOTE(ipohps3 @ Mar 11 2020, 11:40 PM) After reading so many complaints on Exynos, I am glad that I did not preorder the S20 series. I have been a loyal supporter of Samsung by upgrading to their latest S series every year from S6 Edge -> S7 Edge -> S8+ -> S9+ -> S10+. Now still holding on to Exynos S10+. Now not sure which phone to buy... Samsung is really disappointing... same here..been holding on with S10+ currently, was quite tempted to go for S20 Ulta..but after reading reviews on the new SoC (Exynos)..maybe need to stick with S10+ for now..btw, S10+ battery idling is quite terrible to be honest.. overnight with AOD on drained almost 10%.. dunno what to say la.. brightness around 35%, HD+, all black screen, Night Mode on, wifi off, BT off, gps off, most apps being put to sleep..it still happened..memang chip problem...lol |

QUOTE(tisuepaper @ Mar 12 2020, 04:31 PM) I turned off AOD and nofication apps like facebook, whatsapp, email during the time i sleep...it does help a bit, yes, i've tried that before too..but managed to get around 3-5% battery drain until the next morning..sometimes quite hassle to switch to airplane mode then switch back to normal on the following morning..i prefer to leave it standard setting as it is..hehesince i dont need to use it other than the alarm to wake me up on the next morning |

QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Mar 12 2020, 04:46 PM) haha not what, im a bit upset with the flagships. hence make such a remark. ya true..most reviews & people using SD over Exynos said that SD has slightly better battery.. the S20 ultra undeniably has large 5000mah, but at 6.9 inch, with 120hz on..maybe can do slightly better SOT than S10+s10 lite is the only samsung with SD now that officially enters Malaysia. but yeah, like mkbhd said, good phone is not cheap, but cheap phone is getting better. i don't remember something like that la. |

QUOTE(Azureknight94 @ Mar 12 2020, 04:44 PM) Been getting around 5 hours to 5 and a half hours of SOT with 120hz on. For me good enough to get through a working day. My usage usually whatsapp, browse Web and watching videos. Rarely game on phone. that's not bad!Brightness set manually depending on my preference Now gonna test out with 60hz 1440p. Let's see if it will last longer or not. pls share result for 60hz 1440p.. i'm getting 3hrs plus only for my S10+... |
