that's why they put the word portable in the 1st place. 
i personally own a psp way back in 2005 but sold it in 2007 due to lack of interesting games at tat time but bought back a new one, psp3k a month ago.
reasons? games and more exciting games tat's bound to be released.
dude, ps2 isn't a portable console at all...
