i heard my friend said ipod Shuffle produced the best sq among other ipods..i dont know it is true..so now i put up this poll to see ur opinions.. smile.gif

i'm also using iPod nano 2nd gen..
sound quality is good also, i never enjoy listening to the background music so much before using ipod cool.gif cool.gif cool.gif

If you have around some audiophile forums, you will find out that the iPod Shuffle (G1) has the best sound quality among all iPods.

but we can hardly tell the difference by just listening over head phone....
unless u connect it to big nice clear speakers...just my 2cents...

its true..i read it somewhere before..they said shuffle's SQ is way better than any ipods before there are no power wastage..unlike ipod videos and nanos, the power is diverted to the screens..
i dont know u sifus out there believe it or not..but thats what i heard/read before.. wink.gif

You can hear the difference using high end headphones. In general, iPod's sound quality is not bad, but nothing great either.

Most portable CD players offer better clarity and resolution.

Hey there, don't be discouraged. In my opinion, I do think the Ipod Shuffle has better sound quality and volume compared to the others. You probably need a better pair of earphones. Don't bank on the equalizer too much, it introduces quite a lot of distortion even on good earphones. Get a pair of in-ear phones and you're ready to go. Alternatively, route it through a personal portable amplifier and its gonna boom.
