Hi,

I have this sofa which is about 5 years now in my rented condo and one part of the cushion is sinking.

I got a quotation of Rm550 to replace the cushion for all the 4 seats excluding transport.

Another quoted about Rm1k+ excluding transport.

I'm still thinking if i should leave it until all the cushions give way or repair it or get a new one (around Rm500-Rm700).

Opinions?

Buy new cheaper?

I just bought one from shopee RM600 for my unit for rent.
quite good in perceived quality.
if you want cheap, RM300-RM400 is available too but not comfortable.

Is it a good brand with warranty?

For me.. I will only do upholstery only if the sofa frame is from good quality material.. otherwise better buy new 1...

Lasttime i got 1 Ikea 3 seater ektorp sofa.. i cost me around RM1k to change all the cushion & fabric.. i think it worth it as they can change to other design type such as chesterfield or scandinavian type

Can do upholstery. Cheaper too. Just send the cushions

Noted for fabric and cushion, 1k seems like ok. Did you change it in Ikea itself or was it some other shop?

Any recommended shop? I can't remove the cushion separately, it's sewed to the sofa

BTW, USED Ikea Ektorp 3 seater usually around RM300-RM350 depends on the condition.. the Ektorp frame quite good

I don't think it is much different from your cavenzi's quality.

It's shipped from Muar to KL... warranty is likely not applicable here for this price and location.
Anyway, 100% good review from online buyers.
